Lucknow: As part of the ongoing Mission Shakti initiative to empower women and girls, Priyanshi Mishra, an LLB student from KKC College, took charge of Husainganj Police Station as a Station House Officer (SHO) for a day.
In the presence of the current SHO, Shivmangal Singh, Priyanshi conducted a thorough inspection of the police station, familiarized herself with women’s safety arrangements, and interacted with citizens to understand and address their concerns. The police personnel guided her through the station’s functioning and operational procedures.
This unique initiative under Mission Shakti aims to instill confidence, responsibility, and awareness among young girls, demonstrating the importance of active participation in community safety and women’s empowerment.
